Orion XC提供了非常清晰的视频，用于在用户和计算资源之间建立连接的平台上实现视觉无损。一系列具有混合信号格式的Orion TX发送器和接收器 RX设备便于对交换机进行I / O访问，可在连接时自动识别和配置每个设备。

Orion XC交换机和外部扩展设备可以是全CATx，权光纤，或CATx和光纤的混合，具体取决于交换机端口密度。同轴接口也支持SDI / SD / HD / 3G。根据所选的发送器和接收器接口，可以通过Orion XC切换和扩展一系列通用用户和PC外围设备。该系列包括高达480Mbps的全速和高速USB2.0外设，高达5Gbps的USB3.0，串行RS232 / RS422，模拟或平衡音频和数字音频。自动支持USB-HID，用于键盘和鼠标，USB触摸屏和其他USB指定设备。
